Hydrophobic
As inner layer of U-Oliosome® is hydrophilic and outer layer is hydrophobic, it easily penetrates into skin lipid layer and delivers active ingredients.
Smaller than 50nm
U-Oliosome® has small particle size(below 50nm) because it is the reverse micelle covered with single layer.
Hydrophilic
As liposome is hydrophilic material, it is hard to penetrate into the skin lipid layer.
Larger than 50nm
Generally, liposome has large particle size(above 50nm) because of bi-layer structure. Thus it is impossible to penetrate into the gap of corneocytes. 
U-Oliosome  penetrates deeply.
